Tech Innovations LLC (techbillion7.com): According to reports, Zoho is venturing beyond its new campuses at Tharuvai and Kumbakonam to expand its Zoho schools of learning (ZSL). Excitingly, ZSL is celebrating its 20th-year milestone, which indeed is a celebration-worthy realization for this program, which took bold steps to displace normal higher education.

Started in 2005 with just six students and two teachers, ZSL has been designed to equip high school graduates with ‘production-ready’ soft skills through a hands-on, practical curriculum. Over two years ago, students were placed through a paid one-year internship at Zoho to learn without financial burdens. The two-year schedule is also free of charge, currently receiving over 20,000 applications every year, all across India.

The official statement, as per the source, indicates that more than 2000 students have completed their degrees so far at ZSL, out of which a large portion has graduated to become more than 10% of the global workforce at Zoho Corporation.

“The reason we started Zoho Schools is because we felt that conventional education was not preparing students to face the real world,” Rajendran Dandapani, Zoho’s Director of Technology and Zoho Schools of Learning President, said. “Now, these graduates are making an impact at Zoho in leadership, product development, and even in deep-tech R&D.”

Further speaking on the artificial intelligence extravaganza, Dandapani added,

“With AI transforming industries, we are focusing on teaching skills that machines cannot easily replicate, like critical thinking, asking the right questions, and validating AI-generated answers.”

Most technologies worldwide, let alone in India, run on Zoho. The above includes over fifty-five applications, and they are performance point applications of major categories in international business. The company, whose headquarters lie in Chennai, employs more than 18,000 people globally but is privately held and runs within the profit zone. Unlike most, Zoho centers its operations and insists on user privacy, with self-datacenters ensuring one hundred percent control over data security. Maybe over 100 million people worldwide use applications from the tool, including the company.
